From a Tent on Lake Union to the West Coast’s Biggest Show
The Seattle Boat Show didn’t start with 800 boats and three acres of accessories. It started with 13 marine dealers, a big tent, and a shared love for the water.
Back in 1947, a small group of businesses along the Ship Canal near Lake Union came together with an idea. What began as an offshoot of a lobbying effort aimed at the state Legislature turned into something much bigger—a gathering place for boaters, dreamers, and dealers that would grow into the largest boat show on the West Coast.
Today, the show is produced by the Northwest Marine Trade Association (NMTA), founded the same year as the show itself. Boating contributes over $8 billion to Washington’s economy, and the Seattle Boat Show plays a major role in driving that industry forward.

Absolutely nothing but the toilet paper provided can go in the toilets. You will be charges if someone puts anything else in the toilet.
Per Federal US Coast Guard regulations, maximum 13 passengers allowed.
Yacht has a fridge, kitchen and bathroom on board.
Yacht has a great sound system. You may connect your cell phone via Bluetooth to play your own music.

We love animals and would feel terrible if they get seasick, so as a general rule no pets allowed.
Any experience can be canceled and fully refunded within 24 hours of purchase, or at least 14 days before the experience starts. Holiday Charters need 21 days notice to cancel.
If the day of your charter there is bad weather, we can reschedule for another day without any additional fee.
