The World-Famous Columbia River Fishery
Join us for the most celebrated salmon fishery on the West Coast! Buoy 10, where the mighty Columbia River meets the Pacific Ocean, hosts one of the largest salmon returns in the world. From late August through September, this area becomes a salmon angler’s paradise with Chinook and Coho salmon staging before their upriver journey.
Whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned salmon angler, our captains will put you in position for the catch of a lifetime. The Buoy 10 season is legendary for a reason – limit catches are common and the excitement is guaranteed.
Venture into the vast Pacific Ocean for an incredible salmon fishing experience. Our ocean salmon charters target Chinook and Coho salmon along the Washington coast, where these powerful fish feed in the open ocean before returning to their natal rivers. Ocean fishing offers a different experience from Buoy 10 – bigger water, often bigger fish, and the thrill of blue-water fishing.
Our captains monitor ocean conditions carefully and know where salmon congregate along structure, temperature breaks, and bait schools. Come experience the raw beauty of the Pacific while pursuing these magnificent fish.

With a maximum of 6 anglers per trip, you’ll never feel crowded or rushed. You’ll have ample room to fish, personal attention from your captain, and a more intimate experience on the water.
Our captains are licensed, insured, and know the waters off Ilwaco inside and out. They’re committed to your safety, success, and ensuring you have an outstanding day on the water.
Ilwaco offers easy access to both the Columbia River and the Pacific Ocean, putting you in the heart of some of the West Coast’s best fishing grounds.
We provide all rods, reels, tackle, bait, and fish cleaning. Just bring your fishing license, food, drinks, and appropriate clothing.
Ready to experience the best fishing the Pacific Northwest has to offer? Contact Roam Charters today to reserve your spot. Our charters fill up quickly, especially during peak seasons, so don’t wait!
